The Ultimate Activity Company run a variety of family packages and holidays. We can build a day, weekend or week to your specification with the activities you want. We also have a wide range of accommodation to choose from.

Activities to choose from include :- Gorge walking, rock climbing, canoeing, quad bikes, pony trekking, survival courses and muh more.

Birthdays are a great time to spend with the family, and how better than doing an abseil and climb on a Sunday morning!?

We take great care of families, with safety as a main concern we ensure that responsible fun is had and enjoyed by groups of mixed ages.

We’ll put together a weekend (or weekday) package that everyone will enjoy to their hearts content.

The Nunn family from Colchester celebrate three birthdays in September and in 2004 they spent a weekend with us to make it special. They have always been an active family, liking outdoor pursuits, sports and adventures, but this September was to include three generations of fun! The youngest was just 4 and Yvonne was celebrating her 60th birthday! The group also included Katie (18) Carl (37) Daniel (23) and Sarah (23), so it was really important to cater for everyone’s idea of fun.

We did a half mile Gorge Walk on Saturday morning along the Welsh river, and Sunday morning was spent Rock climbing with abseiling in the afternoon. Here is what they said:
